Ardron Scores in Losing Effort

Tyler Ardron scored today in a losing effort. The Chiefs fell 28-24 against the Sharks in Durban in a back-and-forth contest. The loss was the fourth of the 2018 season for the New Zealand franchise. The South Africans face Los Jaguares next weekend in Buenos Aires.

Both the Chiefs and Sharks scored three tries each with the Canadian being responsible for the first of the New Zealand side’s tries. In a set-move Ardron took a long line-out throw from five meters out. His pace saw him catching the Sharks unaware to touch down while with two defenders close by.

Ardron and the Chiefs now return to New Zealand. Their next match will be at home against the Waratahs on Saturday May 26 at Stadium Waikato.
