Herrera, MacGinty Named in Barbarians Roster To Face England

Ramiro Herrera and AJ MacGinty have been named in the Barbarians Roster to Face England later this month. England will warm-up for their tour to South Africa by playing at home at Twickenham Stadium on May 27.

The Barbarians are to be capped by Ireland’s center Bundee Aki. The New Zealander is to lead a side presently featuring seventeen players. Additional names are to be added to complete the player roster for the match.

Herrera departed Los Jaguares to join Stade Français for the 2017-2018 season. He is one of many European-Based players potentially awaiting a call-up from Daniel Hourcade for the June Internationals. He presently has 37 caps for Los Pumas.

MacGinty is set to play for the USA Eagles in June. He was named in the roster by Gary Gold for the Eagles’ summer internationals. The USA are to play matches against Canada, Russia and Scotland. MacGinty has 17 caps for the Eagles and is on track to appear in a second RWC.
