Argentine prop Eduardo Bello has signed a new two-year deal for Pro 14 club Zebre. The former Argentina XV tighthead extends his stay in Italy after impressing in his debut season.
The 22-year-old Bello joined Zebre this season from Argentina. The move marked the first professional opportunity for the Atlético del Rosario product.
His departure from Argentina has seen him playing regularly for Zebre. In the 2017-2018 season he made 14 appearances in the Guinness Pro 14 Championship and four in the European Challenge Cup.
Very satisfied with the services of Bello, Zebre have signed him on a new contract to keep him at Parma for a further two years. This will see him playing both sides of RWC 2019 in the Pro 14.
Prior to moving to Italy Bello was a fringe player for Argentina. He left without having been capped but did so after appearing for the Argentina XV. He debuted for the Argentina XV in the 2016 Americas Rugby Championship and was subsequently included in the Sudamérica Cup and World Rugby Nations Cup squads.
In 2017 Bello again returned for the 2017 Americas Rugby Championship and Sudamérica Cup but was left out of the recent Nations Cup campaign in Montevideo. His move to Italy has seen him develop and he may yet be an option for Los Pumas.
