Scully Scores in Winning Challenge Cup Final Effort

Captain Americas Blaine Scully scored in a winning Challenge Cup Final effort. Played in Bilbao, Spain on Friday Scully crossed for a second half try to help the Cardiff Blues to a 31-30 victory over Gloucester.

In what was an all-time rugby classic the Welsh capital side came from behind to win on full-time. Wales international Gareth Anscombe landed a penalty with time up to seal the result, an unlikely win given Gloucester had been leading 20-6 earlier in the match.

The win marks the end of the season for the Cardiff Blues and Gloucester. For Scully he can now return home to prepare for international duty with the USA. The Eagles face Canada, Russia and Spain in June Internationals.
