Figallo and Wyles Score Against Gloucester

Players from both North America and South America scored for Saracens this weekend. Juan Figallo and Chris Wyles each grabbed a try for Saracens again Gloucester on Saturday.

Both Figallo and Wyles scored their tries in the second half. The first to do so was Figallo. The prop from Salta dived over after being in the right place at the right time.

Wyles’ try required more effort. The former USA Eagles captain got passed two defenders to tough down. His try was his 44th for Saracens and may well have been his last. He is to depart the London club at the end of the season.

Saracens have at least one more match, that being the English Premiership Semi Final. Saracens will play host to the Wasps on Saturday May 19. The winner will advance to the Final to face either the Exeter Chiefs or the Newcastle Falcons.

Recent speculation concerning Wyles is that he is considering a return to international duty. The reports indicate that he is targeting a place in the USA roster for RWC 2019 in Japan. Before then he may return state-side to play Major League Rugby for the San Diego Legion.

Figallo is expected to be back playing for Argentina in 2018. Being among the country’s leading tighthead props a place in the Rugby Championship is expected and a call-up for the June Internationals against Wales and Scotland is not out of the question.
