Carizza and Imhoff Score Tries in Racing 92 Victory

The Argentine duo of Manuel Carizza and Juan Imhoff scored tires in Racing 92’s victory on Saturday. The Parisians took-on Agen in a relocated Top 14 fixture in Vannes.

Carizza crossed for a first half time. With the Racing 92 forwards close to the line he’s spotted a lack of cover and darted over to score.

Imhoff ran in two tries, scoring both from long-range. They were scored in either half of the match. His first try saw him getting the ball inside his own half, splitting the defense and beating four defenders to score.

Try number two from Imhoff came five minutes into the second half. He received a pass on halfway and used his speed to get passed two defenders and hand-off one of them to score.

Racing 92 went on to win the match 42-13. With it they finished second at the end of the regular season. This sees the club jumping the barrage round and being qualified for the Semi Finals. Toulon vs Lyon and Toulouse vs Castres are to be the barrage play-off’s.

Both Carizza and Imhoff have RWC experience for Argentina. With European-Based players once again eligible for Los Pumas both players are again to be considered. Their place in the June Internationals is clouded due to the Top 14 Final complicating the selection of players involved.
