Final Rosters named for Singapore Sevens

The HSBC Sevens Series returns this weekend in Singapore. It’s the site of last year’s historic victory by Canada in an all-Americas final with the USA. The defending champions will begin life after John Moonlight after their talisman announced his retirement earlier this week.

Argentina finished a disappointing 13th last year. They will join Canada in Pool C this time, along with Samoa and series leaders South Africa. The Eagles are in Pool B beside Kenya, France, and England.

The two-day tournament begins on Saturday (late Friday evening for the Americas). A full fixture list can be seen here. Canadians can watch live on the CBC Sports website, with ESPN broadcasting for the rest of the Americas.
