English Premiership – Week 21 Preview

The English Premiership resumes this weekend. In week 21 matches are to be played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Taking to the field will be a number of Americas players. Below is a preview detailing those involved.

Opening week 21 will be one Friday fixture. The Leicester Tigers are at home against the Newcastle Falcons. The season has not gone to plan for the Tigers with the most successful English Premiership side in history outside of the top four. Looking to keep them there will be the brothers from Buenos Aires – Juan Pablo Socino and Santiago Socino. Both will feature from the bench on Friday.

On Saturday  week 21 continues with three matches. The first sees reigning champions the Exeter Chiefs at home against the Sale Sharks. Santiago Cordero starts on the left wing for Exeter. He will play opposite St. Lucia’s English international Marland Yarde. Also starting will be USA Eagle AJ MacGinty who starts for Sale at fly half.

The traditional West Country derby sees Gloucester hosting Bath. Starting for the cheery-and-whites will be RWC 2011 and 2015 Puma Mariano Galarza. Featuring for Bath as a replacement loosehead will be Lucas Noguera Paz.

On Sunday London Irish and Saracens battle it out the final fixture of the round. RWC 2011 and 2015 Pumas Marcelo Bosch and Juan Figallo are both to feature for Saracens as replacements.
