South American u20’s Round Three Results

The 2018 South American u20’s concluded today. The round three results saw Uruguay crowned champion, thereby retaining their title.

Los Teritos went through the tournament unbeaten. Backing-up from earlier wins over Colombia and Paraguay, Uruguay secured the title by defeating Chile 41-7 today.

Both Brazil and Paraguay were also round three winners. Neither team was seriously challenged by their opposition as Brazil defeated Colombia 59-7 and Paraguay ran-out 68-7 winners over Paraguay.

Brazil’s victory was their first of the tournament and sees them finishing one point above Colombia to claim fourth position. Chile and Paraguay finished in second and third places while Colombia and Venezuela were fifth and sixth respectively.
