Hassler Scores 95 meter Try in Ospreys Win

Jeff Hassler scored a try from 95 meters out on Friday. The Canadians winger’s try was the first of the match for the Ospreys who defeated Connacht 39-10 in Swansea.

Hassler not only had the legs to run the length of the field but also scored from an intercept. He was marking two Connacht players yet had the presence of mind to latch on to a pass and score at the other end for the Ospreys.

Scoring the final try of the match was USA age-grade representative Hanno Dirkson. He turned down selection for the USA at RWC 2011 to instead focus on being selected by Wales. Sevens years later he remains uncapped and is no longer eligible for the Eagles.
