Facundo Bosch Scores In man of the Match performance for Agen

Facundo Bosch scored a vital try in what was a man of the match performance for Agen on Saturday. His try and general play helped Agen secure a crucial victory and likely means the club will now avoid relegation from the Top 14 down to the Pro D2.

In addition to scoring a try, Bosch also had a hand in Agen’s first and second tries. In general play Bosch lead the statistics with 67 meters made and in making 14 carries was second overall. He also bet three defenders as a ball-carrier. These accolades saw him winning the Man of the Match Award.

Bosch joined Agen from Los Jaguares in mid-2017. In doing so he was cut from the Jaguares Super Rugby roster before playing a match at all in 2017. His move to France has seen him featuring with regularity, being a regular at hooker.

Yet this weekend in the do-or-die fixture, Bosch played out of position. He played the match at flanker and had a busy match acting as a tight-forward despite wearing the 7 shirt.

For Agen their home match against Oyonnax was a season defining fixture. Bosch scored for the hosts, helping them to a 36-21 victory. Agen are now in 11th spot on 38 competition points. Oyonnax are bottom with 30. Brive are in serious danger with 32.
