Bosch Stars in Losing European Quarter Final Effort

European club rugby will have a new champion this year. Reigning champions, Saracens fell to a 30-19 defeat against Leinster in Dublin on Sunday. The match involved four players from the Americas for the visiting club from England.

Among those from the Americas were Argentina’s Juan Figallo and Marcelo Bosch. Both played at RWCs 2011 and 2015 and have had amazing careers in both France and England. They are among the leading names for a return to Pumas duty this year.

Figallo started at Tight Head against Leinster while Bosch was outside center. Bosch was called upon to kick a penalty from halfway in the match. His attempt was on target, and ensured the match was wide open for either side to win at half time.

For Saracens though it was not to be. Nonetheless Bosch did star in what was a losing European Quarter Final effort. His long-range strike has been called-upon in the past. He has done so in the Aviva Premiership, Champions Cup and even in the Rugby World Cup.
