MacGinty and Sale Hammer Worcester

AJ MacGinty and the Sale Sharks hammered the Worcester Warriors on Saturday. The USA Eagles fly half kicked a penalty and converted five tries to score 15 points. Sale would win the match in convincing fashion, doing so by 58-25.

MacGinth was joined by St. Lucia winger Marland Yarde in the team. Yarde moved from the Caribbean to England in his youth and has gone on to play for England. He scored one of Sale’s eight tries against Worcester this weekend.

The game itself was a comeback performance from MacGinty. Having been sidelined through injury he made his return in the Aviva Premiership at an ideal moment in the season. Sale have a realistic opportunity of pushing for a place in the Semi Finals.

With 18 rounds of the season having been played the Sale Sharks have 48 competition points. Fourth spot at present sees 54 points, making it reachable if Sale can continue winning. Next weekend Sale host the Wasps on Friday.
