Boffelli Is The Top Try Scorer in 2018 Super Rugby

Emiliano Boffelli is currently the top try scorer in the 2018 Super Rugby season. After six rounds of the 2018 season the Jaguares winger leads the statistics with six tries.

Now into his third season of Super Rugby, Boffelli has an overall total of eleven tries. This makes him Los Jaguares’ Top Try Scorer in history with him now ahead of Agustín Creevy.

Boffelli scored two tries in Saturday’s win over the Lions. His first try of the season was in the opening round against the Stormers. His second was one week later in Los Jaguares’ away match against the Lions.

No Jaguares player scored in the round three match against the Hurricanes though many did against the Waratahs in round four. Fellow winger Bautista Delguy scored the only try against the Reds while Boffelli’s double in round six brought his total to six.

Five players in the 2018 Super Rugby season have scored five tries thus far. Delguy is one of them. The four others are George Bridge (Crusaders), Aphiwe Dyantyi (Lions), Akira Ioane (Blues), Jack Maddocks (Melbourne Rebels).
