Estelles To Depart Northampton

Juan Pablo Estelles is to depart Northampton. The 29-year-old is confirmed as one of four players being released by the club at the end of the 2017-2018 season.

Estelles joined the Northampton Saints following his performance for Los Pumas 7’s. He did so after having played for Argentina at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The year 2016 saw the Rosario flier completing not one but three landmark accomplishments. In addition to playing in the Olympics he would go on to debut in England for the Northampton Saints in November and he would also debut for Argentina’s top side.

Having earned a single cap against Chile in 2008, Estelles’ next cap came in November 2016. It was against Scotland as a replacement. He then started against England one week later.

For the Northampton Saints, Estelles has made 15 appearances thus far. He has scored two tries while playing for the team at senior level.
