Urdapilleta Becomes All-Time Leading Argentine Scorer in Top 14

Benjamín Urdapilleta has become the All-Time leading Argentine scorer in France. With 17 points in yesterday’s win over Brive, Urdapilleta now has 1170 points in Top 14 matches.

The mark is a record, with him officially ahead of some extremely noteworthy players. Felipe Contepomi, Juan Martín Hernández, Martín Bustos Moyano, Gonzalo Quesada all played in the Top 14.

Despite his proven abilities, Urdapilleta has never played a test match or Argentina under Daniel Hourcade. He did, however, play against Los Pumas for the French Barbarians.

Existing Pumas selection policies mean those based outside of Argentina are not considered for international duty.
