Major League Rugby has confirmed their kickoff times for 2018. The inaugural season begins on Saturday, April 21 when the New Orleans Gold play the Houston SaberCats at Dyer Stadium, kickoff time set for 2pm local time, 3pm Eastern.
All matches will be broadcast locally with an OTT (streaming) agreement set to be announced shortly. The previously announced multi-year deal with CBS Sports Network will see one game broadcast on the nation-wide channel each week as well as the Semi Finals and Finals, set for Saturday, June 30 and Saturday, July 7 respectively with kickoff times to be determined.
Fans hoping to see all the games are in luck with only two matches currently set to overlap – the Week 8 fixture in New Orleans is slated to kick off at 4pm Eastern with the Austin match scheduled to begin just an hour later, though it’s possible this will be changed in the coming weeks.
