In a gesture underlined the spirit of rugby Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe gave his shirt to a fan post match. In what is far from being an isolated incident Corcho made a young Toulon fan happy by removing his jersey to trade it with him.
It occurred on Saturday following Toulon’s home match against Stade Français. Toulon ran our 43-5 winners with Fernández Lobbe starting the match at flanker. He was joined in the back-row by Facundo Isa who played on the other flank.
Toulon’s next match is on Sunday, February 25. They face the daunting prospect of an away trip to face La Rochelle. The teams are currently positioned 3rd and 4th in the Top 14.
