Brazil were welcomed to Langford in just about the worst possible conditions on Saturday evening. Wind and rain added to the chilly temperature for the game against Canada in the third round of the Americas Rugby Championship.

Os Tupis were looking to rebound from their defeat at the hands of Uruguay in São Paulo while Canada were desperate for a win following three straight losses to start their 2018 campaign. The home side handed debuts to Doug Fraser, Martial Lagain, and Cam Polson.
