Hassler Scores At The Death in Ospreys Win

Jeff Hassler scored at the death in the Ospreys’ win over the Southern Kings. Played in Swansea on Friday evening the Welsh region defeated South African side the Southern Kings 26-12.

The Ospreys did not start well. They were forced to come from behind to win the match. Their half time deficit would be overturned by two penalty tries. Hassler’s final minute score would confirm the win and give the home side greater credibility on the scoreboard.

Hassler’s score saw the Canadian getting past four defenders. His combination of pace, the line he ran and strength got him over for the Ospreys.

After 15 rounds of the Guinness Pro 14 Championship the Ospreys are in 6th place of Conference A. They are ahead only of Zebre. With the Italians also winning on Friday the result was by no means insignificant.
