Guido Petti In Doubt for Super Rugby Opener

Guido Petti is in Doubt for the season’s Super Rugby opener. Los Jaguares face the Stormers this coming Saturday in Cape Town. Head Coach Mario Ledesma has been preparing today for the fixture without Petti.

The second-rower Petti was knocked-out playing against the Bulls in a warm-up match this past Saturday. Petti came off second best in a collision with teammate Marcos Kremer. An official announcement concerning Petti’s status for the match is set to be made from Los Jaguares.

In today’s training in South Africa Petti did not participate with the team. Instead he trained on his own. This leaves Tomás Lavanini and Matías Alemanno as the likely starters against the Stormers. Kremer is the additional option currently with the roster. Benjamín Macome was left home in Argentina for the season opening tour.
