The USA hosted and defeated Canada in an ARC fixture on Saturday. It was a second round match in the annual competition. The 29-10 win was the latest in what is an impressive winning streak by the Eagles over their northern neighbors.
Not only has the USA won all prior ARC matches against Canada but Saturday’s win stretches the USA’s unbeaten run over Canada to seven tests dating back to August 2013.
The victory took the USA to top spot in the Americas Rugby Championship table after two rounds. They are above Uruguay on points differential.
Both the USA and Canada play again this coming weekend. Canada return home to Westhills Stadium facing the ever-improving Brazil. The high-flying Eagles travel to Fullerton, California where they await their visitors from South America, Chile.
