Tennessee Flier Tommy Seymour is to earn his 41st cap for Scotland on Sunday. The Nashville native will start on the right wing at Murrayfield against France.
Seymour is to be joined in the back-three by Stuart Hogg and Sean Maitland. The former Maori All Black, Maitland, is one of six changes for the match made by Head Coach Gregor Townsend.
Maitland is one of three changes to the backs. The others see Clermont’s Greig Laidlaw back at scrum-half and Pete Horne named in the mid-field.
In the forwards there has been one alteration per row in the scrum. In the front-row New Zealander Simon Berghan is back from suspension and is straight back into the side. Grant Gilchrist is back to lock the scrum while Ryan Wilson will start at flanker.
John Barclay captains Scotland joining Wilson and Hamish Watson in the back-row.
