Callum Black signs for Worcester

US-eligible prop Callum Black has signed for Worcester Warriors. The 31-year-old, born in Washington DC, returns to Worcester after spending the last seven years in Northern Ireland with Ulster in the Guinness Pro Championship.

Black will re-join the Warriors ahead of the 2018-19 Aviva Premiership season on a two-year contract, where he will join current Eagles hooker Joe Taufete’e in the Worcester front row. Loose forward Andrew Durutalo is also at the club.

A loosehead specialist noted for his scrum ability, Black has represented Ireland at age-grade levels up to u21 and also played for Emerging Ireland in 2014 Nations Cup but remains eligible to play for the Eagles. To date he has more than 140 appearances for Ulster across all competitions.
