Late Change Sees Estelles Playing today for Northampton

A late change sees Juan Pablo Estelles playing today for Northampton. The 29-year-old was a last minute replacement due to the withdrawal of Wales’ George North. He is to feature from the bench for today’s match against the Sale Sharks.

The fixture is a round three match in the Anglo-Welsh Cup. For a complete preview of this weekend’s Anglo-Welsh Cup click here.

Estelles moved to Northampton in 2016. He did so after appearing in that year’s Olympic Games. His move saw him also playing in the November Internationals, including starting against England. His call-up came due to him having signed on a short-term basis with Northampton. He was to return home in early 2017.

His return did not happen with him instead remaining in England. Due to the UAR blocking selection to European-based players Estelles was not considered for international duty in 2017.
