Luke McGrath has been named on the Ireland roster for the Six Nations. The 24-year-old native of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada is one of three scrum-halves selected by Head Coach Joe Schmidt.
McGrath has earned six caps for Ireland thus far. His debut came in 2016 against his native Canada. Prior to playing for the senior side he also played for Emerging Ireland and the u20’s.
Included in Schmidt’s squad are Chris Farrell and Bundee Aki, both of whom who won their first caps in the end-of-year series back in November.
Ireland’s Six Nations campaign will begin on the road. The Irish travel to Paris to face France at the Stade de France on February 03.
