Los Pumas 7’s Make Changes for Sydney and Hamilton

Los Pumas Sevens coach Santiago Gómez Cora has made changes for the upcoming Sydney and Hamilton events. His roster includes thirteen players for what are to be the this and fourth rounds of the 2017-2018 World Circuit. Sydney and Hamilton are to host the events on January 26-28 and February 3-4 respectively.

Back in the fold is Matías Osadczuk. The 2017 World Rugby Sevens Series Rookie of the Year winner is to feature for the first time since April. Also included for the upcoming series’ are Severiano Escobio (Hindú) and Máximo Provenzano (Alumni). Both players have been selected for the first time in their careers. Both featured in the recent Punta del Este 7’s in Uruguay.

Returning to the roster are Fernando Luna and captain Gastón Revol. Both were missing from Cape Town though injury. Fellow regular Rodrigo Etchart has been named in the Argentina XV roster for the Americas Rugby Championship and thereby will not play for Los Pumas.

Argentina will compete in Pool play against France, Kenya and Wales in Sydney. First up sees Los Pumas taking on Kenya. From there they will face Wales and France in that order.
