Argentina send young team to Punta del Este

Argentina will send a development side to Punta del Este, the first stop of the Sudamérica Sevens series, to take place over two days beginning on January 6. Los Pumas are in Pool C at the competition along with the Canada Maple Leafs, Ireland, and Colombia.

Most notable among the rest is versatile Hindú back Severiano Escobio. The 28-year-old is yet to achieve senior international honors despite being consistently among the best attacking players in Argentine domestic rugby.
