LaBrèche named to Six Nations panel

Rose LaBrèche will referee in the Six Nations for a third consecutive year. The 29-year-old will take charge of the Italy vs England in Reggio on February 4. A week later she will be in Dublin to act as an assistant in the Ireland vs Italy match at Donnybrook.

A winner of two consecutive Rugby Canada Referee of the Year awards, the Ottawa resident is also on the HSBC Sevens Series panel and is one of five senior referees named to officiate the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast in April. She is the only referee from the Americas named to either the Women’s Sevens circuit or the Women’s Six Nations.

LaBrèche’s most notable refereeing achievements to date are appointments to the 2016 Olympic Games and the extended panel for the 2017 Women’s World Cup.
