The fourth round of the British & Irish Cup coincides with the bigger European competitions with the Greene King IPA Championship sides facing either Guinness Pro 14 reserve teams or shuffled versions of their regular Championship rivals. On Sunday a pair of little-used players will get some game time for Richmond. Argentine-born flanker Adam Lee is retained on the flank and former Canada u20 representative Richard Townsend is named as a reserve hooker for the match in Ireland against Connacht Eagles.
Cornish Pirates are again asked to play on Sunday. Argentina’s Nicolás de Battista starts in the midfield with two Canadians also in the run-on side for the match against Scarlets Selects. Brett Beukeboom is named at lock and Matt Evans continues his comeback from injury on the wing.
