Greenshields, Kelter named to Dubai Dream Team

Canadian flyer Julia Greenshields and USA playmaker Alev Kelter have been named to the official HSBC Dream Team for the Dubai 7s. Greenshields was rewarded for her attacking style that netted seven tries in the tournament, good enough for second overall. Kelter landed seven conversions including the game-winner against New Zealand in the Quarter Finals, and was a standout in both attack and defense for the Women’s Eagles.

Cup-winning Australian duo Evania Pelite and Emma Tonegato each earned selection, as did two players from the Bronze-winning Russian team – towering forward Baizat Khamidova and speedy winger Elena Zdrokova. Rounding out the side is the tournament’s top try scorer, New Zealand’s Portia Woodman.
