New Blood in Jaguares For December Training Camp

The arrival of Mario Ledesma has had an instant impact. He has named new blood in Los Jaguares for a December training camp. The camp will take place on December 6-7 in Buenos Aires.

In what is to be the first time training under the new Ledesma regime some 34 players, all of whom are forwards, have been included. Of them many are from outside of the system that covered Los Jaguares, Los Pumas and the Argentina XV in 2017.

Ledesma has included a mixture of new players and others who have already participated in a variety of Argentine representative sides. Many of the returnees played under Felipe Contepomi this year. He is to join Ledesma at the camp.

Activity for both Los Jaguares and the Argentina XV is to begin early in 2018. Players are thereby being examined now before a chistosa break and a return to fulltime training in January.

Among the new blood are players including Lucas Favre and Franco Scaramella (Lomas), Facundo Canova (San Patricio), Agustín Costa (Urú Curé), Franco Fontana (San Martín), Juan Pablo Zeiss (Los Matreros) and Federico Brundi (San Carlos).
