Chile’s second round Cup of Nations match against Hong Kong sees a mid-week edition of the Americas Rankings. The November 15 2017 Americas Rankings are updated with changes to the Chileans.
Los Cóndores’ 13-6 defeat to Hong Kong has resulted in Chile losing rankings points. The updated rankings see Chile falling from 56.48 to 56.03 points. The change is insufficient for positional changes.
The Americas Rankings will be updated again on Sunday. Chile are to play yet again, this time facing Russia. Also on Saturday Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Uruguay and the USA all play. They do so against Italy, Belgium, Spain, Namibia and Germany respectively.
It should be noted that Costa Rica continues to be ranked on 32.16 points. This is the case despite the country having gained World Rugby membership today. Upon gaining World Rugby membership unions enter the World Rankings and do so with a 30.00 ranking.
