The Americas Rankings have been updated following the completion of international competition this weekend. The November 12 2017 rankings have been influenced by results from November Internationals in Europe and Asia.
Gaining points in the November 12 Americas Rankings are Los Cóndores. Chile’s 23-3 win over Kenya see the countries exchanging 1.72 rankings points. With it they trade places in World Rankings as Chile is now 27th and Kenya 28th in the world.
Brazil’s 43-12 loss against Germany sees a loss in rankings points. The updated rankings see Brazil dropping 0.26 points to now have 54.24. It sees no positional change tough Germany rises to 22nd in the world.
Canada’s 54-22 defeat at the hands of Georgia has not seen any changes for the North Americans. In what was 12th in the world hosting 24th the points differential heading into the match means neither side won or lost points. Yet with Hong Kong falling against Russia Canada has risen from 24th to 23rd in the world.
The Americas no 1, Argentina lost 21-8 away to England. The result has no impact in the rankings due to England having entered with a notable advantage in points over the South Americans.
Neither Uruguay nor the USA have yet played this month. Uruguay enter one position lower. Russia’s away win over Hong Kong sees Los Teros falling from 18th to 19th in the world rankings.
The Americas Rankings will be updated again following further international activity. Chile return to the field on Tuesday against Hong Kong. On Saturday Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Uruguay and the USA all play. They do so against Italy, Belgium, Spain, Namibia and Germany respectively. Chile will also play again, this time against Russia.
