Prop Cristian Bartoloni Moves to France

Argentine prop Cristian Bartoloni is continuing his career in France. The 22-year-old has signed to play for Charente in the Pro D2, France’s second division.

Aged 22, Bartoloni joins Charente from the PladAR system, Argentina’s domestic academy. He has been a player on the fringes for Los Jaguares and Los Pumas in 2016 and 2017. He was on the Super Rugby roster both years, receiving limited game time.

Opportunities presented themselves in the form of the Argentina XV. This saw the Pucará front-rower involved in playing for Argentina’s official ‘A’ side. He also faced both Chile and Uruguay in the 2016 Sudamérica Rugby Cup.

In the 2017 Nations Cup in Montevideo, Bartoloni started against Russia at Tight Head prop. Other players were selected for the recent Americas Pacific Challenge.
