Pro D2 – Week 12 Preview

The November Internationals will be gaining full attention this weekend. Against the back-drop, however, will be week 12 of the Pro D2. France’s second division is to have a full round of regular competition. Taking part are to be a number of players from the Americas.

Colomiers host Mont de Marsan in the Week 12 opening fixture this evening. Both teams are to have Argentine players involved. Agustín Costa Repetto starts at hooker for Colomiers while Carlos Muzzio will play Loose Head prop for the visitors.

Week 12 continues on Friday with six matches. In Basque country Bayonne welcome Massy. They do so with Martín Bustos Moyano starting at fullback. Chilean Pablo Huete will feature from the bench as will Rugby World Cup 2015 Puma, Juan Pablo Orlandí.

Former Pumas center Horacio San Martín also gets a start on Friday. He is to do so for Nevers who have home advantage against Narbonne.

On the Mediterranean coast Santiago Iglesias Valdez will run-out for Béziers. The hooker is to be one of three front-rowers from Argentina involved in the match. Starting for Charante is Joel Scalvi who will play Tight Head prop. His replacement is to be new-recruit Cristian Bartoloni who will play his first game for his new team.

Taking to the field for Dax will be Martín Chiapessoni. The uncapped flanker from Paraná takes on Montauban on Friday evening.

Week 12 concludes on Sunday. The final fixture of the round sees Perpignan hosting leaders Grenoble. Line-ups for the fixture will be announced on Saturday afternoon.
