Urdapilleta Powers Castres Home Over Oyonnax

A masterclass performance from Benjamín Urdapilleta powered Castres home in an away win over Oyonnax on Saturday. Castres won 32-19 with Urdapilleta scoring 22 points. He slotted six penalties and converted two tries.

The result sees Castres climbing up the standings. The win takes the club to 8th position. Oyonnax are not so fortunate. With just one win from the opening nine rounds the club is bottom of the Top 14 and facing relegation.

Oyonnax won their way back into the Top 14 this season. It came after previously having done so with Urdapilleta being the club’s fly half. Having made history by getting the club to qualify for the Champions Cup and play in the Top 14 barrage he departed for Castres. He is now into his third season at the Tarn club.
