A pair of Colombian players are to Play in France in 2018. 20-year-old Damar Valderrama and 26-year-old Daniel Avellaneda are to play for Givors in France’s Fédérale 3, the national fifth division.
Both Valderrama and Avellaneda are from Cúcuta, a city in Norte de Santander, bordering Venezuela. The same city is the hometown of Andrés Zafra, Colombia’s first professional player. Zafra plays for Lyon, who are sitting in first place of the Top 14.
Earlier this month Valderrama was representing his country. He played as a replacement for Colombia against Peru.
