Berchesi, Chiappesoni Star in Dax Win

South American players Felipe Berchesi and Martín Chiappesoni stared for Dax who defeated Aurillac on Friday. Playing at home, Dax won 20-9. The two South American players were involved in all of the scoring.

Dax scored two tries in the match. Argentine flanker Chiappesoni went over for the second of them. The first was scored by Sakiusa Buretakiyuca. His try came from a perfectly directed pass from Berchesi. The Uruguayan passed quickly to his right to the Fijian who stepped inside and blast through to score.

Berchesi converted both tries and also landed two penalties. This saw him scoring 10 points, or 50% of those scored by Dax in the match. He also retreated well to end a possible try following a break from Aurillac. His evening was not perfect, though, as he was yellow carded in the second quarter of the match.

Win result moves Dax up to 9th position. Aurillac fall to 13th. Dax play away to Vannes next weekend while Aurillac have home advantage against Nevers.
