Postiglioni Changes Spanish Destination

Bruno Postiglioni has changed his Spanish destination. The former Pumas Loose Head prop is indeed continuing his professional career in Spain but his move to Barcelona has been called-off. Instead he is joining Gernika, another side in Spain’s Premier League, the Division de Honor.

The La Plata player had not only agreed to terms with Barcelona but had also participated in training at the Catalán club. But an 11th hour decision sees him playing in the Spanish Basque country.

Postiglioni completes his move to Spain after previously playing two years in Italy. He played in the Guinness Pro 24 Championship (formerly Pro 12) for Zebre. His move to Italy followed four years of being in Los Pumas. Lucas Noguera Paz was preferred to Postiglioni for Rugby World Cup 2015.

At Gernika Postiglioni is to be in the presence of many Argentine players. Santiago Viaña, Facundo Espinal, Joaquín Palisa, Bruno Mercanti, Juan Cruz Guzmán, Nicolás Jurado, Federico Llanos and Nicolás Martínez are all at the club.
