Colombia Sevens Preparing in France

Colombia’s Men’s Sevens team is preparing in France. With the Juegos Bolivarianos quickly approaching Los Tucanes are now training in Marcoussis. They are doing so with an eye at winning medals on their home turf in Santa Marta. The camp runs until October 30.

The players in France are mainly from Antioquia. Jhojan Alexander Ortiz, Andrés Felipe Álvarez, Camilo Cadavid, Jhon Arley Urrutia, Daniel López, José Manuel Diosa, Sebastián Mejía, Neider García and Emmanuel Bedoya all are. Brayan Campiño and Maicol Machado are from del Valle while Oscar Forero is from Bogotá.

In France Colombia’s players and coaching staff have had contact with the FFR technical director Didier Retiere and 7’s team manager Cristophe Reigt. Michel Tajdian is working with the Colombians to arrange friendlies against French clubs and the national developmental side.
