South Africa 2023 Bid Video

South Africa is bidding to host Rugby World Cup 2023. The African country is one of three options which World Rugby is presently considering. The two others are France and Ireland. All three have previous hosting experience in one way or another.

South Africa’s bid, as presented in the following video, places sporting and social factors at the forefront. It combines the past with the present to show what it has to offer.

An official announcement is to be made from World Rugby on November 15. Before then, however, is to be the all-important recommendation to the World Rugby Council on October 31. The country that is recommended is all but assured of being ratified as the host.
