Americas Rankings – October 22 2017

The Americas Rankings have been updated following the completion of international competition this weekend. The October 22 2017 rankings are influenced by Colombia and Venezuela. The teams met in the South American B Championship Final in Medellín on Saturday.

Colombia defeated their eastern neighbors 53-13. The win was based on a tremendous second-half performance. The margin of the win saw Colombia picking up the maximum rankings points on offer in exchange.

Los Tucanes entered with 48.25 points while Venezuela did so with 41.98. The updated rankings see Colombia improving to 48.36 and Venezuela falling to 41.87. It is not sufficient for either side to rise or fall though Colombia continues to close-in on Paraguay and 7th spot.

The Americas Rankings will be updated again next month. Heavy involvement from the Americas in the November Internationals will see teams touring Africa, Asia and Europe.
