Wyles Double Downs Worcester

USA Eagles Great, Chris Wyles scored a double to help Saracens down Worcester on Friday. The former USA captain played the match on the left wing, scoring tries on both wings and in both halves.

The fixture was an away match for Saracens. The 2017 European Champions Cup winners have started the 2017-2018 season well. After five rounds the club is 4-1 and occupies third position. With 18 competition points the club is just one behind the joint leaders – Newcastle and Northampton.

Saracens’ next fixture will be at home. On Sunday the London-based side plays host to the now Coventry-based Wasps.

Aged 34, Wyles no longer plays international rugby. He returned from USA duty after Rugby World Cup 2015. His phenomenal career saw him playing 54 test matches from 2007-2015. This included playing in three Rugby World Cups.
