AJ MacGinty was prominent as the Sale Sharks demolished Gloucester on Friday. The 57-10 win Sale’s biggest in the Aviva Premiership in fourteen years.
As a result, the Sale Sharks gained five competition points and occupy 7th position in the Aviva Premiership. Gloucester are not so fortunate, sitting in 10th position ahead of only London Irish and Worcester.
The performance from Sale was clinical. MacGinty completed a personal haul of 15 points. This included converting six tries and landing one penalty. It comes at a great time for the USA as the Eagles play test matches next month.
Next up for the Sale Sharks is an away match in London. The Manchester-area side take-on the Harlequins on Friday evening. Gloucester have home advantage on Saturday against the Northampton Saints.
