Aviva Premiership – Round 4 Preview

Round 4 of England’s Aviva Premiership kicks-off later-on today. As was the case in the prior three rounds there are to be a host of players from the Americas involved.

Opening the round will be a derby. The one and only Friday fixture sees Gloucester at home to Worcester. The Cherry-and-Whites remain without Mariano Galarza. The Puma is recovering from an operation. Named on the bench for the visitors is Eagle Joe Taufete’e.

On Saturday Bath take-on the Newcastle Falcons. It sees the Aviva Premiership debut of DTH van der Merwe. The Canadian outside back starts on the left wing for the Falcons. Joining him in the starting lineup are two Argentine players, the Socino brothers. Named at hooker, Santiago Socino gains his first start for the club. Juan Pablo Socino will play inside center.

In London the Harlequins play host to the Leicester Tigers. Starting on the right wing for the home side will be Marland Yarde. Born in St. Lucia the Caribbean flier is capped at international level by England.

Across town Saracens take-on the Sale Sharks. Looking to cause an upset will be AJ MacGinty. The USA fly half starts in the 10 shirt for Sale. Running out for Saracens will be a pair of Pumas. In his 100th appearance will be Marcelo Bosch who starts at outside center. Juan Figallo starts at Tight Head prop.
