Guinness Pro 14 – Round 3 Preview

Round 3 of the Guinness Pro 14 kicks-off today. The Celtic, Italian and South African league will see three Friday fixtures and the remaining four being played on Saturday.

The Americas will be represented in league matches on Saturday. Jeff Hassler will start again for the Ospreys. The Canadian flier will play left wing for the home match in Swansea against Munster. Hassler’s return from injury has seen him playing very well.

The historic match in Bloemfontein between the Cheetahs and Zebre will involve Serafin Bordoli. The uncapped Argentine fly half has been named on the bench for the Italians. Saturday’s fixture is expected to attract a crowd of over 25,000 people. Eduardo Bello will not play for Zebre.

The Cardiff Blues produced one of their poorest performances in a long time last weekend. In looking to bounce-back from the loss in Ireland, the Welsh region is now at home to take-on the Glasgow Warriors. USA winger Blaine Scully will not play though Tennessee’s Scottish international Tommy Seymour will do so for the visitors.  Also absent is Greg Peterson.
