Chile Roster Named for Oktoberfest 7’s

Chile has named a 12-man roster for the Oktoberfest 7’s. Los Cóndores 7’s will compete in the upcoming competition in the German city of Munich.

Chile is to be one of two countries involved from the Americas, the other is Argentina. Chile will compete in Pool C, facing Australia, Fiji and Ireland. Argentina are to compete in Pool B against England, Germany and Uganda.

The Oktoberfest 7s will take place on September 29-30 at the Munich Olympic Stadium. The famous arena has a capacity for 69,000 spectators.

Chile’s players will be looking forward to another shot at facing the Olympic Gold Medalists. Los Cóndores 7’s faced the Flying Fijians at the Seven de Viña, falling 31-12.

The Chileans are to prepare in Buenos Aires together with Los Pumas 7’s. The camp will take place from September 21-24. Both teams will fly to Germany on September 25.
