Top 14 – Week 3 Preview

Week 3 of the French Top 14 will be played this weekend. There will be no Friday matches in Week 3, instead five games are to be played on Saturday and two on Sunday. At least 10 players from the Americas are set to be involved.

Patricio Fernández will be on the bench for Clermont Auvergne when they travel to La Rochelle on Saturday. Sergio Parisse again leads Stade Français for their match against Bordeaux.

At Oyonnax assistant coach Jamie Cudmore will watch his charges take on Agen. Leandro Cedaro starts at lock for the visitors with Ignacio Mieres at flyhalf.

Back on the wing for Brive is former Eagles star Taku Ngwenya, while second row Manuel Carizza is a reserve for Racing 92. Castres have their two South American stars, Rodrigo Capó Ortega and Benjamín Urdapilleta, in the lineup against Montpellier.

Sunday’s teams have yet to be confirmed with Pau set to host Lyon and Toulon welcoming Toulouse to Stade Félix Mayol. Facundo Isa and Samu Manoa have both been named in the Toulon squad.
