Guinness Pro 14 – Week 2 Preview

The Guinness Pro 14 Championship continues this weekend. Week 2 of the season sees two Friday and five Saturday fixtures. Unlike in round one there are to be matches played in Italy and Scotland in Week 2. South African teams remain in Europe playing away this weekend.

It is not a busy weekend for players from the Americans. Week 2 of the Pro 14 Championship is to see just three players involved. Two of them are natives with the third being eligible to play for the Eagles.

Taking to the field on Saturday will be Jeff Hassler. The Canadian will play on the left wing for the Ospreys who play away in Scotland. The Welsh region travel north to take-on the Glasgow Warriors in an afternoon fixture.

In northeast Italy the USA eligible Callum Black will start. The uncapped veteran will play at loosehead prop for Ulster who play away against Benetton Treviso. Across in Parma Zebre play host to the Scarlets. They do so with Serafin Bordoli named as a replacement. The Argentine flyhalf is into his second season for Zebre.
